Handcrafted in a small atelier in Newcastle Upon Tyne, Velvet Johnstone believes in slow, sustainable, ethical design. Using environmentally-friendly artisan practices and responsibly sourced materials, Velvet Johnstone combines luxurious plant-based & recycled fabrics with organic and peace silks, while also breathing new life into vintage & dead stock which would otherwise end up in landfill.

- offcuts are worked back into the design or given new life as one off limited edition pieces at sibling brand Rocks Dust & Diamonds. or donated to local charities and schools.
- fabrics are responsibly sourced combining luxurious plant based & recycled fabrics with organic and peace silks and vintage & dead stock which would otherwise end up in landfill.
