Offering both bespoke handmade wedding dresses, as well as carefully considered capsule collections for wholesale, this is bridal wear for women who love simple elegance and who appreciate fine detail and storytelling. I believe a wedding dress should be spectacular enough to make a statement, comfortable enough to let you dance the night away, and mindfully made with an eye for the environment as well as for all-out beauty.
These individually crafted wedding dresses are created using a mixture of environmentally conscious fabrics (from GOTs-certified silks and laces to locally sourced trims and offcuts), the majority of which are sourced in the UK. Gemma combines her strong background in design with her expert knowledge of her craft, and passion for sustainability to produce unique collections that are as stunningly elegant as they are ecologically sensitive.
FAQs: Sustainability Dedicated to eco-friendly and responsible production, we choose each material with intention and care. We prioritise quality when it comes to fabric and try to use natural, organic and GOTS (Global OrganIc textile Standard) certified fabrics where possible. Where we do use polyesters, for example, for our linings or as fabric blends, we opt for recycled polyester/Nylon.
We use recycled materials for our ribbons and garment tags, and package our dresses in environmentally friendly protective packaging.
We are also very passionate about waste when cutting garments, and try to use our off cuts where we can, or donate these to local schools or other eco fashion companies who can use them.
We manufacture our gowns in house as well as using a small London based ethical supplier who currently make Bridal wear for other high end British designers. .
FAQs: Other As a small independent design label we are able to offer our brides flexibility and customisable options when it comes to the designs and fabrics. Our customisable options include being able change a sleeve design, neckline, change a fabric, add a train etc.
Our sizing is available in sizes 8 - 18. We are able to offer split sizing for an additional fee and extra sizes if required.
We are able to loan out additional samples from our range for trunk shows and offer a 'Meet the designer day' opportunity for boutiques.
