As we gear up for another year (hopefully your best year yet!) we thought we would share a few new things that are planned for GOWN this year. Some are still in the planning stages, some have launched and some won’t happen until later in the year; all very exciting with the objective to connect bridal designers with bridal boutiques and with brides.
Monthly Masterclasses for all GOWN members
In the 3rd week of every month there will be a live 90-minute masterclass designed to help you market your business better. The diary looks like this:

Non-wholesale membership
There will be a new tier for membership aimed purely at brides and not at boutiques (although boutiques can still see it). This is now live (you can sign up here) and is £25 per month. You will have access to the marketing masterclasses also as well as PR opportunities.
Stronger alignment with Magpie Wedding
Most social media posts featuring members will now go live on Magpie Wedding’s social pages (90K) to help increase reach. These will then form part of their advert promo strategy meaning their posts about you will be shown to even more people. Members will be featured in Magpie blogs too.
More GOWN inspo blogs
We want to feature more inspiration for brides on GOWN so if you have been involved in a styled shoot or got a real wedding please send it to us. It doesn’t matter if it has already been featured elsewhere. We also want the site to be more “newsy” so will be featuring more industry news, launches and celeb weddings so – send us your news!

Got samples to sell? Or maybe accessories? The GOWN online shop will be live soon! All members can sell there for free!
Talks to Magpie Wedding Bride Group
We are focusing on our bride group this year and all members will be invited to talk and showcase their designs to the members. PROJECT WEDDING – the yearly 4 day wedding planning event is happening again in February and members will be invited to talk to them.
There is more – from a sample sale live event in London to a boutique directory but that’s all for now!
